Introduction

Katara Hospitality envisioned a landmark digital installation at Katara Towers Hotel, home to Raffles Doha, to elevate guest experience. As a key VIP hotel for the FIFA World Cup 2022, it aimed to become a global centerpiece.

ADS delivered a dynamic, immersive feature setting new design standards.

The Vision

The vision was to create the world’s largest digital kaleidoscope—an 80m installation transforming the atrium into an immersive display of color and motion, elevating the hotel’s global prestige.

Seamlessly integrated, it used advanced technology to create ever-evolving patterns, redefining hospitality design.

What We Delivered

ADS led the full delivery of the atrium feature—from concept and engineering to procurement, installation, and commissioning.

A precision-engineered system, it seamlessly integrated custom LED tiles, projection, and mirrored surfaces to achieve a cohesive, visually striking experience.

Challenges Overcome

A tight deadline driven by the FIFA World Cup 2022 demanded flawless, fast execution—from production to software calibration.

The custom system featured parabolic 3D LED tiles, precisely formatted to sync with mirrored walls, creating an illusion of infinite depth and motion.
